Moving Forward Together
How to have compassionate conversations with people who think very differently from you
Two part webinar:
Tuesday & Thursday, March 9 & 11
7-8:15 Eastern / 4-5:15 Pacific
Has the past year (or maybe the past 4) had you asking yourself over and over,
“How can so many people believe what they believe? Has half this country lost their mind?”
You want to get along with people.
You want to work together to get through this pandemic, find solutions to the climate crisis, and dismantle and heal from systemic racism.
But some people make it SO HARD.
When so many people around you, maybe even people you love, seem to be living an entirely different reality, it can be exhausting to have even the simplest conversations, let alone persuade them to see the truth.
Perhaps what’s most frustrating about trying to interact with people who think so differently, is how hard it is to show up as your true self.
You are compassionate, creative, and generous. It’s just hard to act that way sometimes when people have such… let’s say… challenging views.
What would it be like to discover a way to bring more ease and compassion into your interactions with people you disagree with?

In this two part webinar series I’ll show you a way to better understand why some people think so differently, and how to create trust, compassion, and a sense of possibility, even when things are tense.
Part 1:
How can people think SO DIFFERENTLY from me?
The first step to interacting with people who think differently, is understanding HOW they can have such a different view of the world.
In this 75 minute webinar you’ll learn a neurophysiological model for how the brain creates its own experience of reality. Developed by Dr. Maria Nemeth and used by thousands of leaders across the world, this model explains our natural tendency to create certainty, especially in times of stress.
Part 2:
How can I have a productive conversation with someone who thinks so differently?
You’ll learn one simple yet powerful tool that will allow you to automatically create an environment of trust, compassion, and creative possibility, even among people who strongly disagree. Best of all you won’t have to work hard to do it.
This tool was developed by studying inspiring leaders throughout history. You’ll learn what they focused their attention on in order to naturally show up as compassionate and empowering in all that they did.
By practicing this tool consistently, you’ll be able to experience more ease with any challenging interaction. When you do so, you might just create the space where new possibilities can emerge.
This course is for you if:
You are struggling with how to interact with loved ones you disagree with
You are frustrated by a constant sense of division in your community
You are more interested in moving forward together than you are in being “right” all the time
It breaks your heart to see people angry and afraid, and you want to help
You are a leader who wants to unite people around possibility
You are struggling to “change people’s minds” about crucial issues (like race, pandemic, and climate)
This course is not for you if:
You are not interested in learning to see things a little differently
You want to learn ways to “convince” people that you are right and they are wrong
You are not interested in seeing some new possibility to move forward together
